The Greenhouse Effect

On a warm and sunny September day Radviliskis Vaizgantas Progymnasium year 3 and year 4 students carried out an experiment to see what the greenhouse effect is on the temperature. A few days before the students built 2 cubic structures using straws, adhesive tape and transparent film. They went outside, placed the cubes on the table under the sun and put the thermometers into the cubes. The students recorded temperatures every 2 minutes for the period of ten minutes to notice the rise in the temperatures. Back at their classes they discussed the differences in temperatures and reasons for the rise.
